Homeschool…

7:53 am Working Together so EVERY Child Learns!

Embracing Early Reading was given the amazing opportunity to have an exhibit booth at the June 2008 CHEO (Christian Homeschool Educators of Ohio) Annual Convention!  What a wonderful experience!  One of the greatest gifts that a parent who chooses to homeschool their child(ren) has is the opportunity to provide their child(ren) with the one-on-one individualized instruction that ALL children need and grow from!  Embracing Early Reading is now being used in homeschools across Ohio!

Here is an e-mail we received after returning home from the convention (from a homeschool mom who purchased the Embracing Early Reading Support System at the convention)…

“I just wanted to tell you how thankful I am for your curriculum.  I told my son, Logan, that I was so excited about getting him started in reading through a new set of books.  Immediately, he wanted to start.  So, at 9:00 pm last night I got out a book and told him we could read through one.  He read through it (of course, after I gave him cues listed on your text support card.)  He was so excited that he read a book ‘all by himself’.  So, I asked him if he wanted to read it again.  He enthusiastically said, ‘yes.’  This time he did read it all by himself.  Then he wanted to read another and another and another and after 4 books, I said, it is time for bed, we will read some more tomorrow.  This morning, he woke up and said, ‘Can I read another book now?’  Talk about excitement from him and relief for me!

I am so greatful for your curriculum and I know that God led me to you this week.  Thank you so very much!”

THIS is the purpose of Embracing Early Reading— finding joy, purpose, excitement, confidence… in reading!
